Morning in Paris. The first act of the trilogy. For the first time in its history, Zielinski & Rozen has crafted a trio of fragrances. Each perfume embodies a memory, a lived experience which Erez Rozen had during 24 hours in Paris. A day turned novel in three parts: morning, midday and evening. Paris in the morning is a special state of mind. The city isn’t yet fully awake, the streets are half-empty, and the cafes are just opening. The air buzzes with anticipation for the day to come, yet the intimacy of night still lingers. It's at times like these that the metropolis reveals its true face: not the touristy one, but the local, authentic one. The deep oud in this composition symbolizes the complexity and contradictions that permeate every large city. Its smoky, almost mystical aura conveys the sense of duality experienced while strolling about the City of Light: beauty and decay, luxury and simplicity, history and modernity. Tart amber adds warmth, like the first rays of sun filtering through the buildings. Rich woody notes create structure, the architectural foundation of the composition, balancing smokiness and sweetness. The result is a voluminous composition that conveys not only the spirit of the place but also the inner dilemma of the scent’s creator as he meandered the city’s alleyways and grand boulevards.
